Garfield School's motto is "Grow, learn, belong". The staff and teachers are continually providing a comforting and encouraging environment to assist the growth and learning in each individual. The proof is in generalized test scores, where Garfield school exceeds expectations. Garfield school is known for creating a sense of belonging for each student and family by providing a feeling of being part of the family. In a small school setting you get to know the other families and teachers beyond just a first name basis. There's value in that as it's not just another elementary school. Clearly the staff and teachers at Garfield School live and breathe their motto daily.
